PET, also known as a thermoplastic elastomer, is a polymer or polymer alloy material with the structure of a rubber soft chain segment (or rubber phase) and a plastic hard chain segment (or continuous plastic phase). The most common PET is a polymer alloy material synthesized by mixing SEBS and SBS.

PET and silicone have many similar properties, such as soft touch, elastic rubber, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. Silicone is a traditional material, PET only appeared in the rubber and plastics industry for nearly a decade. PET and silica gel have similar characteristics, and each has its advantages and disadvantages.
