Polyester chip polymerization production of polyester raw materials generally processed into about 4*5*2 mm or so flake particles, commonly known as polyester chips. As raw materials, it is mainly used in fiber, various containers, packaging materials, film, film, engineering plastics and other fields. Polyester raw materials produced by polymerization are generally processed into about 4*5*2 mm flake particles, commonly known as polyester chips. Direct esterification (PTA) and transesterification (DMT) are the production routes of polyester. PTA method has the advantages of low raw material consumption and short reaction time, and has become the main process and preferred technical route of polyester since the 1980s. The large-scale production line is a continuous production process, while the semi-continuous and intermittent production process is suitable for a variety of medium and small production units. Polyester applications now include fiber, various containers, packaging materials, film, film, engineering plastics and other fields.

Polyester chip, English abbreviation PET, scientific name: polyethylene terephthalate, from the refined terephthalic acid (PTA) and ethylene glycol (EG) polymerization. Polyester chips may be the raw material of polyester bottle flakes, or different USES after the secondary name. At present, polyester chips are mainly used in bottle grade polyester (widely used in the packaging of various drinks, especially carbonated drinks), polyester film (mainly used in packaging materials, film and tape, etc.) and polyester for chemical fiber.
